Welcome Home 90 WWII, Korean, and Vietnam War Veterans!
Please join us on Sunday, Sept. 29 at San Diego International Airport at Terminal 2 Baggage Claim as we bring home 90 American Heroes! Our flight arrives at 1:15 p.m., but you’ll want to be there by NOON in case we catch a tailwind. See the information on on the flyer for where to park for FREE parking and ride FREE shuttles!
Come dressed in your favorite patriotic attire, and bring signs and personal sized American Flags to give our heroes the homecoming they didn’t get after the wars. This event is open the public and family-friendly.
Active duty men and women can “man the rails” and issues those first salutes. See the person holding a microphone to gain access to the stairs.
And for the first time ever, we’ve partnered with Feeding San Diego and their Feeding Heroes Initiative to support the military community. Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item for their Feeding San Diego donation bins! The most needed items are peanut butter, soups, pantry goods, and ready-to-eat meals.
