Event Description
Grammy and Emmy award winner and Banjo Hall of Fame member in concert. Her recent Emmy was for a record she did with Steve Martin, with whom she frequently collaborates. She was also featured in his just released documentary. Alison was raised locally and has played to sold out audiences around the country as well as in Europe and Japan.
We are seeking Rotarians who would like to sponsor members of the military to attend this concert. The Marine Room has offered to sponsor 10 marines who would not otherwise be able to come, and a few other Rotarians have offered to do the same. Additionally, the Armed Services YMCA have agreed to identify and distribute tickets and assure that the recipients are able to attend.
