Welcome home 90 U.S. Navy Special Warfare Operators!

Honor Flight San Diego is a non-profit team of volunteers dedicated to escorting San Diego County Veterans to Washington D.C. to visit and reflect at the Memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifice.

Break out your red, white and blue, and give these veterans the homecoming they didn’t receive when they returned from war. We have 88 Vietnam War Veterans and 2 Korean War Veterans who will be on this historic flight.

Show your support by wearing patriotic colors and bringing American flags and signs. Military in uniform can be part of the “honor detail” and be the first to greet the veterans. **Find the man with the microphone to get access to the stairs**

There will be two shuttle buses from Sundance Stage Lines for FREE service to/from Terminal 2 Baggage Claim running from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. The Port of San Diego lots are FREE, the airport garage is not.

Due to airport construction, there will NOT be enough spaces in the airport parking garage for all attendees.

It is HIGHLY recommended that you carpool, use Ride Share services, or park in Port of San Diego lots at the corner of Pacific Highway and Sassafras Streets. Please consider dropping off mobility challenged attendees at Terminal 2 first, then park.
